if the clicking is fast abrupt and repeating please try to see if its on the hard drive side. If it is im afraid you will need a new hard drive and if you travel a lot an SSD would be a better choice for you and it will seriously upgrade your systems performance.

Hello everyone, it is Αργυρώ from Ikaria. Would anyone be available any time this week to help with a troubled machine? It is the one (Toshiba Satellite NB10t-A-103) that I had brought to the space to convert into a linux device. As of late, it loads to a frozen login screen, makes a strange noise (clicking, but fast and brief) and then stays frozen. I'm not sure what to do and would appreciate any help, and of course, any excuse to come to the space! I have brought it with me to Athens and will be here for a few days, but don't know what would be the best day or time to come over.
