Been thinking that a Facebook group is more suitable than a Page.
The Page proypothetei or demands a hierarchical structure, a single centralised "authority" or a single "official" source of information which we don't have or want to have.
A group, on the other hand, allows everyone to post independently rather than wait for the "page managers" to spread the news (this will make more and more sense as we grow), it allows for different voices to show up as equal to each other & it makes visible the creative chaos behind things (people can then break off & create other groups accordingly). At the same time Maria is entirely right: it's a real bummer that people have to be "approved" in order to enter the group. This is one of the great many problems with Facebook.
Ideally, we'd move out of Facebook all together!
